A crack team of PhD-trained golden retrievers illustrate the structure of atoms – the particles that make up everything around you. They also show how atoms are weirder than you might think.

    I would rather watch animals untrained by friggin humans show me this at a random moment in my life than have humans think that they can make animals act like they were showing me this. Like the dogs! But human involvement is totally not natural. Again dogs great human involvement not so.

    Bravo!

    Now…what can you get Schrodinger’s cats to do? Maybe you could make a video with multiple outcomes.

    Just don’t kill any kitties…please!

    Very cute…and well trained dogs having fun. My dog believes in alternate universes…the one where she catches the squirrel.

    The word is “inhumane”, and I think that’s stretching it. I would agree though that he probably has a small penis and is pissed about the whole male pattern baldness thing.

    The man is really inhuman with his dog at 0:14 :-(

    What’s inside the atom? I was hoping they were going to cut the mongrel open.

    I’m reporting this awful video to PETA. This is animal abuse in it’s most raw form. To show a Science Experiment! Fowl!

    O good thing the dogs were there. Without them the words and pictures would not have made any sense!

    Quadruped!!! Actually one of the potential reason why the electrons appear as a blurr and can not be accounted for at time is b/c scientist believe they come in and out of our dimension (and into others). Now if any of you four-legged animals want to make something of that, bring it on.

    @dablakparade

    I’m a little allergic too…and believe me, 20 golden retrievers in one room create A LOT of hair.

    If you could hear the video audio, you’d no doubt hear me sneezing.

    @PlayHorse3

    Yes, I am British.

    The dogs are too. Google ‘golden retriever formation display team’ to see what they do for their day jobs.

    Glad it passes muster for the science curriculum!

    and that’s exactly why I spoke of AMERICAN STUPIDITY.

    The thing is, they won’t learn anything. They’ll just look at the dogs amused, while the concept behind it all goes above their head.

    man, i thought this would be a lot cooler

  24. #24 by ndrag0n on November 21st, 2009 - 10:12 am

    Why would you be teaching atoms to kids that young though?

    I’m seeing the three fingers pointing back your way.
